Terms & Conditions

Welcome to First Learn Learning Clinic. By accessing or using our services (including site, assessments, one-to-one sessions, parent counseling etc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Definitions

  • Client / Parent: The parent or guardian enrolling a child with First Learn.

  • Child / Student: The individual receiving educational, assessment or therapy services from First Learn.

  • Services: Includes learning assessments, one-to-one sessions, progress tracking & reporting, parent counseling, and any other educational support offered by First Learn.

  • Site / Website: firstlearn.in and any associated subdomains, pages, digital platforms.


2. Eligibility & Enrollment

  • The Child must be under the care or guidance of the Parent or legal guardian to enroll.

  • All enrollment forms must be completed truthfully, including any prior diagnoses or learning difficulties, school history, etc.

  • First Learn reserves the right to decline service if we determine the Child requires specialized care beyond our scope or if there are misrepresentations in the enrollment process.


3. Assessments & Services

  • Services are provided on a one-to-one basis, tailored to each Child’s pace, style, and individual learning needs.

  • Learning assessments are used to identify learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, slow learning etc.) and to form a basis for creating personalized learning plans.

  • First Learn will monitor progress and provide periodic reporting to Parents.


4. Fees, Payments & Cancellation

  • The fees for various services will be communicated in advance and agreed upon by Client.

  • Payments must be made as per schedule agreed (e.g. weekly/monthly/termly) or before service begins, as applicable.

  • Cancellation policy: If a session is cancelled by the Client with less than [X hours/days] notice, a cancellation fee may apply. If First Learn cancels, the session may be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Late payments may incur interest or suspension of services until due amount is settled.


5. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Regular attendance is important. Missed sessions without prior notice may not be made up or might incur additional fee.

  • Please arrive on time; lateness may shorten the effective session time.


6. Parent / Guardian Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary information about Child: medical history, learning history, any therapies, consent for assessments.

  • Cooperate with suggestions, homework or practice exercises given by Educator.

  • Attend counseling or feedback sessions as needed to support Child’s progress.


7. Conduct, Safety & Environment

  • Child behavior should be appropriate; First Learn reserves the right to suspend or terminate service if a Child behaves in a way that threatens safety or disrupts sessions.

  • First Learn maintains a safe, respectful environment.


8. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • All personal, medical, learning assessment data will be handled with confidentiality.

  • First Learn may collect, store and process data relevant to the Child’s learning and progress.

  • Parent’s consent is required for any sharing of data beyond First Learn (e.g. with partner schools).


9. Intellectual Property

  • All learning materials, curriculum content, worksheets, reports etc. provided by First Learn are the intellectual property of First Learn (or licensors). They are for personal use; copying, distribution, or commercial use without permission is prohibited.


10. Limitation of Liability

  • First Learn will strive to provide high quality services, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes in child’s academic or personal development.

  • First Learn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of services.


11. Termination

  • Either party may terminate services with prior notice of [X days/weeks].

  • First Learn may terminate services immediately in case of breach of these Terms, non-payment, or behavior issues.


12. Changes to Terms

  • First Learn reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Revised terms will be posted on the website, and continue to apply from that date.


13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms will be governed by the laws of India, and more specifically laws applicable in Kerala.

  • Any dispute arising shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration or to courts in Kasaragod / Kerala.
